On Monday March 16th 2020, the International Health Policy Program (IHPP) organized “The First IHPP In-house Academic Conference” at Sarn-jai 1/2 meeting room, NHCO building, Ministry of Public Health. The conference focused on strengthening research capacity among young researchers. The knowledge exchange platform focused on presenting outstanding research of each IHPP node. The discussion involved breadth and depth of research issues in terms of methodology and policy implication. The external reviewers are Asst. Prof. Pattarawalai Talungchit from Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University and Asst. Prof. Chalermpol Chamchan from Institute for Population and Social Research (IPSR), Mahidol University together with IHPP’s senior mentors such as Dr. Suwit Wibulpolprasert, Dr. Viroj Tangcharoensathien and Dr. Walaiporn Patcharanarumol and several IHPP senior researchers. The presented research topics are as follows.
This conference provided a great opportunity for cross-node learning, gaining new methodological knowledge and new insights regarding potential policy implication. It also helps improve presentation skill and language affluence of IHPP colleagues.
