Kenya and Uganda press interview: learning Thai health system development for UHC implementation and a new route of medical tourism

During the visit in Thailand on the “Promoting Thai Medical Tourism in Kenya and Uganda” project, Royal Thai Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya requested the Ministry of Public Health, Thailand to support the Kenyan and Ugandan press to learn in UHC implementation and health system preparation for medical tourism through Thai experience. In the search for successful UHC implementation, one of the big four agenda of the public policy in Kenya and Uganda, the press interviewed Dr.Suwit Wibulpolprasert, Senior Advisor of the Ministry of Public Health on January 21st, 2019 at International Health Policy Program (IHPP), Ministry of Public Health. Thailand is one of the champions in UHC movement at global level, this interview is therefore plentiful with valuable and useful contents along the journey before and after UHC achievement. This will foster the collaboration in public health and strengthen constant relationship among the governments of Thailand, Kenya and Uganda.
