The Ministry of Health of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam organized the Training Workshop on Global Health from 21 to 22 August 2012 at the Head Office of the Ministry of Health, Vietnam. The training aims to build up and to strengthen the capacity
of Vietnamese officers on global and regional health, in a connection with the 63rd Session of the Regional Committee for the Western Pacific which will be hosted by Vietnam from 24 to 28 September 2012.
Dr Suwit Wilbulpolprasert, Dr Viroj Tangcharoensathien and Dr Walaiporn Patcharanarumol from the Ministry of Public Health, Thailand were invited from the Vietnam Health Ministry to be the three resource persons of the workshop. The Vietnam Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien hosted lunch on 22 August 2012 for the three resource persons.
